Bullivants Quality Matter QM2879 Van Beest Safety Alert - Nut on specific batches of shackles and turnbuckles

Dear Bullivants Customer, 

We are contacting your company as we have received recent advice of a quality matter from Van Beest Bullivants supplier of specific batches of Shackles and Turnbuckles. 

1. Quality Matter: 

While there have been no reported incidents due to this safety issue, Van Beest has issued the "Van Beest Safety Alert - Nut on specific batches of Shackles and Turnbuckles, dated April 9th 2024" and state in part: 

"Recently we have discovered that some nuts on specific batches of products do not conform to our specification as the threading was too loose. Under exceptional circumstances during application, the continued use of products from these batches may therefore result in risk of loss of load. Further investigations have made clear that the issue may exist on batches produced in 2023, with the traceability codes on the pin"

 Van Beest further advise that any products delivered before January 1st, 2023, are not affected.
