3M Protecta Adjustable Shock Absorbing Webbing Lanyard (AE529ADJ/3AU)

3M Australia has identified a labelling/marking issue with a small batch of lanyard assemblies, affecting a total quantity of 56 units. The labelling issue could result in the printed information on the label being misinterpreted according to AS 1891.5:2020 Personal equipment for working at height, Part 5: Manufacturing requirements for lanyard assemblies and pole straps.

As a result of internal reviews and consistent with our commitment to quality and safety, we are providing this Stop Use & Recall Notice for the batch of 56 units manufactured between Feb 8th, 2024 and Apr 22nd, 2024 for the part number: AE529ADJ/3AU, Protecta adj. lanyard 2m; 2x snap hooks.

We are not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the use of these 3M PROTECTA Adjustable Shock Absorbing Webbing Lanyards. We have not received any customer complaints regarding this but have identified it through an internal review.
